Alisha Tucker, a transplant from the Pacific Northwest, graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Sustainability and Design from The Evergreen State College. Since graduation she has spent most of her time working in the field of in-home healthcare, developing skills which transfer nicely to Homeward Bound.
Growing up on a small family farm, she has claimed many furry family members including horses, cows, goats, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, peacocks, dogs, cats, and a raccoon or two – you name it, she’s cared for them! Alisha has always had a soft spot for animals and has persuaded her share of humans to open their hearts and homes to an orphaned kitty or two. She is responsible for her grandmother becoming the “cat lady” in her home town and hopes to one day have as many kitties to love in her home as well! Alisha currently co-habitats with her precious kitten Penelope, and is an involved auntie to her housemate’s Izzy, a loving Springer Spaniel. She gets to fill her heart with the love of Homeward Bound’s clients and feels right at home with the Homeward Bound family.
