Dashing towards the holidays we stop to thank and recognize a wonderful family adorning this town with laughter and joy; the Redditt Family. Chad and Jennifer are the parents of 3 precious boys Chadwick, 5, Miles, 4, and furry baby Louie, 2. Chad, a Vicksburg native, moved to Oxford to attend college in the early 90’s and has been here ever since. Jennifer, an Oxford native, remained here after graduating and after marrying knew remaining was the best location to start and raise their family.
Before baby Louie joined their family, Jennifer researched diligently to find their canine fit to join their ensemble. She was looking for a big personality and well, no shedding! When finally she saw him, it was love at first sight. Who could resist his big brown eyes? When?Louie?was a puppy, Miles was a little scared?of him?so?he did not interact much with him.? On the other hand,?Louie and Chadwick were pretty inseparable from the day they met.? Now, Miles is no longer scared of him (who could be??) and Louie is pretty much right in the middle of whatever the boys are doing. One of his favorite past times is gardening. He loves to pick vegetables from the garden and play with them like toys. Most summer sunny days when the vegetables are ripe, one could make a salad from the findings in the yard that Louie leaves out when he is done playing. In fact, Jennifer only had one eggplant last summer due to Louie’s constant gardening technique.
Louie is the perfect pup. He likes to chase shadows of butterflies and birds and loves the light from a flashlight. More than that he loves to snuggle and is Jennifer’s constant companion. He will not go to bed for the night until she gets in bed first.? He can be so tired and barely keep his eyes open but will not rest until she rests!? He jumps out of bed the moment her feet hit the floor and snuggles during her morning cup of coffee. What a love he is.
Louie is visited frequently by our Pet Nanny team and is a regular at the Spaw. His whole “MO” is to relax! Well Louie, you’ve come to the right place! He bounds through the Spaw door ready to get started. He knows he’s spending time with his extended Homeward Bound Family. He enjoys his personal “Zen Room” and can hardly wait until his haircut turns to his head. While catnapping (standing up!) he tries to slide his front legs to a laying position throughout his session. But nothing is better then facetime! The finishing touches on his face and head is when he takes his table nap. Always a gracious and loving guest at the Spaw it is our true privilege to care for this special guy. We wish this family the most magical of holiday seasons. We will do our part to add a little sparkle and joy to their family as they have done for ours!
Happy Holidays!
