Happy Holidays and Season’s Greetings to all! We’re pleased to announce December’s jolly pet family of the month, the Victors: Kate, Neil and their sons Ethan, 16, Aiden, 11, yellow lab Woody, 14, and Shih Tzu Max, 7 years. Max a gift for Kate has been the gift of a lifetime.
Neil and Kate are both Ole Miss graduates. Kate also an Ole Miss law school graduate is originally from Oxford and Neil from Savannah, Georgia met at a mutual friend’s wedding here in Oxford which Neil traveled back from Savannah to attend. After they married they moved back to Oxford and Neil has been in Interventional Oncology Sales and has been back here for the last 7 years, loving every minute of it! The family loves all things Ole Miss. They love to entertain for sporting events which the dogs love also. Even though Woody has advanced in years, he’s still got it. HIs favorite snacks of apples has kept him young.
Woody has given up some of his old tricks like fetching sticks and rocks under water, hunting, and some of the favorite family travels. He has Max to keep him company and on his toes. The furry boys still enjoy travelling back to Savannah and visiting family there. On the adventures they cannot accompany the family, the two are entertained at home by Homeward Bound and the wonderful pet nannies.
The closely knit family has favorite trips to Disney World in Florida amongst other beach vacations to the state. Kate and Neil like to jet set to other countries such a Mexico, Spain, and most recently France. They don’t stay too long away from the kids and Kate’s job as Panola County Supervisor. They like to keep Max on a very regimented Spaw schedule and Neil has been very dedicated at teaching Max new tricks. Latest trick is teaching Max to “attack on command,” especially his brothers Ethan and Aiden.
All should be safe though, as long as Santa isn’t watching too closely, and they get at least 95% of their Christmas lists. “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night,” (and day..week…month.)
